这个由2D BOY开发的另类益智游戏曾经在美国独立游戏节上包揽多项大奖，游戏的灵感来源于蚂蚁在搭建桥梁与建造家园的时候。根据2D BOY官网的消息，World of Goo会在今年之内推出PC版本，并支持Mac/Linux操作系统。这是一个基于物理和建筑原理的益智游戏，数以百万的黏性球体物质居住在一个不知名的美丽世界，它们在这个游戏中显得非常可口（delicious）。
我不得不佩服外国人的创意精神，这个游戏的确非常好玩。
从文化底蕴上，这是一个略带讽刺意味的，黑色幽默的游戏。Goo，直接翻译并不好，就是那种粘糊糊的东西，但是这个游戏把Goo作为主角，把不经意的小东西，甚至是人们厌恶的东西给戏剧化，不得不承认是个吸引人的地方。难道这就是人们的逆反心理？而其中的语言都是非常幽默，黑色幽默、冷幽默的内容，让这样一个娱乐变得更加典型。
游戏是具有技术含量的，这里并不是指多么漂亮的3D画面，是的，这只是一个2D平面游戏，游戏容量都很小，对电脑要求都不高，但是其物理模型作的非常到位，这也是其好玩的一个主要原因。这样一个真实的世界，我们被赋予了操控性，主宰的能力，怎能不叫人们动容？
游戏的音乐也是体现文化的重点，非常。。。有特色的音乐，诙谐，有一点爵士，也略带歌剧/古典音乐的感染力。这无疑和内容形成对比，倒也别有一番风味。总之，我喜欢这些音乐。
